The Ballroom Dance Company
May I recommend generous helpings of Tango, Waltz, and Quickstep?
Oregon Football
My former co-worker and fellow Norwegian, Craig M, caught a ticket to Oregon kicking Michigan ass in the Big House. He witnessed firsthand the best traveling team in the PAC-10 as Ducks owned the vaunted stadium. Stanford got a few shots in on the second quarter on Saturday and then we stepped on the Cardinals in the second half. Message from #11 Oregon to #6 Cal: We will run on you. We will rain completions upon you. We will score early and often. Forget the audibles and bring it. Welcome to Autzen.
Clear Creek Distillery, Apple Brandy
Eighteen blocks from where I was born, Clear Creek Distillery is "producing what many experts feel to be the best fruit brandies...ever made in the U.S." (NY Times).
Ian Doescher
Ian just wants to get back to the Rose City. He wrote, produced, and sings in this delightful ode to Portland. Buy it, like I did, and help Ian return to his rightful place upon the Willamette.
Walk Portland
Peter Chausse knows more about Portland and it's surrounding environs than most people have forgotten. A former forest ranger and classroom teacher, Peter brings a quiet passion and pride to his urban expeditions and college classes that is unrivaled.

I'm not completely sure why I've been watching a lot of AC/DC on YouTube lately...
Is it because I was completely freaked out and fascinated when my high school friend, Dave Aklin, spun Back in Black for me in his basement bedroom?
Is it their complete commitment and abandon in performance?
That a college friend swore that AC/DC was the best show she had ever seen? That Back in Black was playing when you had your first car accident?
That you love Midnight Oil and the Hoodoo Gurus and why wouldn't you love another Aussie band? Or that School of Rock, one of your favoritist movies, covered It's a Long Way to the Top?
