May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.

Sumerians Look On In Confusion As God Creates World
08:00 PM

"According to recently excavated clay tablets inscribed with cuneiform script, thousands of Sumerians—the first humans to establish systems of writing, agriculture, and government—were working on their sophisticated irrigation systems when the Father of All Creation reached down from the ether and blew the divine spirit of life into their thriving civilization."

Front page of espn.com - Rose Bowl, baby! I'm so grateful to be a die-hard fan of a school that provides such amazing support for the team and for the players that make such a huge commitment in time and discipline. Oregon wins a ton of games. They've worked so hard for this and now we're PAC-10 champs and headed to the Rose Bowl for the first time in 14 years.

Kudos to Oregon State. Mike Riley is one of the greatest coaches in the nation. I defy you to find any coach that gets more out of his players. What a great squad and an amazing 1-2 Oregon football punch. This was a Civil War for the ages. You don't get that without an awesome opponent.

I stuck with my team too (ballroom formation team) and showed up for the 8-10 p.m. rehearsal. We've got a big competition coming up and it didn't feel right to not be there. I stayed plugged into my Walkman with one ear and managed to rehearse our quickstep and paso doble well.
