"...credit unions are on pace to post 2% membership growth in 2009."

There is no reason why you shouldn't keep your money in a credit union instead of a bank.

Credit unions are owned by their members. Their sole purpose is to serve members. The purpose of banks is to generate profit. You save money and support local jobs when you put your money in a credit union. The credit unions didn't need a bail out or other corporate welfare bullsh*t.

It's a no-brainer. Why isn't your money in a credit union?

Check out this picture.

It shows you how efficient we [U.S.A. people] are in keeping our citizens alive compared to other modern democracies.

rose bowl 2010: oregon 17, ohio state 26
06:56 PM

We lost.

This loss hurts worse than 1995. Back then, we were just at the beginning of a renaissance in Oregon football that continues to this day. We were good back then, but total underdogs.

We've been to bowl games almost every year since then, even reaching oh-so-close to the mountain top in 2001 crushing Colorado in the Fiesta Bowl and ending the year with a #2 ranking.

10-3 is a very good season, especially in light of how badly it began in Boise. But it's not entirely the score that makes it tough - it's how they made us play their low scoring-boring-conservative game and eat crow. Their run defense was amazing and Masoli was just not the magic man I knew from his ten victories.

We bring back the core of a usually phenomenal offense. Next year, right?

Right now it's just gonna hurt for a little bit...
